Maintenance

Proper maintenance is important to enjoy the product for a long time. Hand washing is recommended!

It is a natural product that will continue to develop its charm over the course of its lifetime – for example, if you change a pair of jeans, the hemp will change in shape and colour as a natural fibre during use. This is a natural wear and tear process. To protect the fabric and the colour fastness of handmade fabrics, we recommend protecting the product from extreme heat sources (including sunlight), as well as moisture and abrasion.

We recommend hand washing your backpack in warm water. Use organic washing products or mild organic soap. In case of heavy soiling, use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove the dirt from the fabric. Avoid rubbing to avoid unnecessary damage to the fibres. Allow the item to air-dry and repeat the process if necessary. Dry cleaning is not recommended, nor is tumble drying. Remember that heat causes natural fabrics to shrink slightly and all fabrics become softer after washing.
