CBD is cannabidiol, one of the many cannabinoids found in hemp. It is one of the most important constituents of hemp, accounting for around 40% of the plant extract. CBD has a sedative effect and can balance sleep, pain, emotional and immune system functions. CBD can help restore and maintain physical and psychological balance in everyday life.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) in 2018. report CBD can help with treatment:

  • Epilepsy;
  • Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS);
  • Dravet syndrome (DS);
  • Perinatal asphyxia;
  • neonatal hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy.

However, cannabidiol (CBD) is not listed as a medicinal product.

If you've never used CBD products before, we suggest starting with the weakest 3-5% CBD oil. This will make it easier for you to discover and make sure the product is the right one for you.

Once you are convinced of the suitability of the product and have found the best daily dose, you will be able to choose stronger CBD products.

We recommend that you consult your doctor about taking CBD oil and follow his/her exact recommendations.

We recommend that you consult your doctor about taking CBD oil and follow his/her exact recommendations.

All bottles come with pipettes to help you always use the exact dose that is right for you.

General recomendations. The recommended daily dose of CBD is 20-40mg, up to a maximum of 200mg per day. The number of drops depends on the strength of the product you choose (see table below).

The daily dose can be divided and used 2-4 times a day to spread the duration of action. Apply a dose of CBD drops to any desired area of the body (protect your eyes).

The daily dose also depends on:

  • Your body weight;
  • Your current wellbeing;
  • The result you want.

Therefore, we recommend starting with the lowest recommended daily dose and gradually increasing it by 5mg/day, while monitoring your well-being, until you achieve the best result.

If you experience a headache or other unpleasant sensation after taking the lowest recommended dose, reduce the daily dose.

If you want to stop using CBD oil, we suggest you don't do it suddenly, but gradually reduce the daily dose.

For best results, we recommend:

  • Shake before use.
  • Always apply evenly, daily. Consistency is the way to success!
  • Do not touch the dropper with your hands or mouth, hold the pipette. This way you preserve the highest quality oil!
  • Store in a dark, cool place.

World Health Organisation (WHO) 2018. The report noted that CBD does not produce effects of abuse or dependence. Clinical studies have shown that even high doses of CBD do not cause THC-like symptoms (e.g. impaired cognitive and psychomotor abilities, increased heart rate, tachycardia, dry mouth).

We recommend that you consult your doctor about taking CBD oil and follow his/her exact recommendations.

We do not recommend the discretionary use of CBD for children, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

We recommend that you consult your doctor about taking CBD oil and follow his/her exact recommendations.

We do not recommend the discretionary use of CBD with antidepressants.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) in 2018. The report found CBD to be well tolerated and safe, but a few rare adverse symptoms were noted:

  • Drowsiness;
  • Reduced appetite;
  • Diarrhoea;
  • General fatigue.

Hemp seed oil is an oil cold-pressed from hemp seeds and has long been recognised for its usefulness as a food and beauty ingredient.

CBD oil is hemp seed oil supplemented with CBD extract, which is found naturally in the hemp plant.

The main difference between hemp seed oil and CBD oil is cannabidiol (CBD), which is not present in hemp seed oil.

Full-spectrum CBD is a hemp product with all the cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids naturally found in hemp. However, the THC content of the full-spectrum CBD cannabinoid THC does not exceed the 0.2% limit set by Lithuanian law.

Broad-spectrum CBD is CBD found in hemp with other cannabinoids except THC, terpenes and flavonoids. However, this does not mean that the product is the same as full-spectrum CBD, from which the THC cannabinoid is extracted. Broad spectrum CBD can be a mixture of CBD isolate with at least one of the active ingredients from hemp, depending on the manufacturer.

CBD isolate - the pure form of CBD without other compounds from the hemp plant. It is usually a crystalline solid that the manufacturer can dissolve in vegetable oil.

The main difference between full-spectrum, broad-spectrum and isolate forms of CBD is the 'environmental effect', which has shown that the CBD cannabinoid's efficacy is stronger when combined with all the cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids naturally present in hemp.

Cannabinoids (CBs) are natural compounds found in hemp (Cannabis sativa). Of the many different compounds in the plant, over 100 are called cannabinoids.

The most well-known of these compounds is THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which is the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis.

Two other important cannabinoids are cannabidiol (CBD), which is another important component and makes up about 40% of the plant extract, and cannabigerol (CBG), which is only found in about 1% of the hemp plant, but acts as a precursor for CBD and THC.

Extraction is the method used to separate and purify cannabis compounds. There are several methods of extraction:

  • Alcohol extraction. This method uses alcohol, usually ethanol, as the solvent and then removes the alcohol by evaporation. One of the drawbacks of this method is the polarity of solvents such as ethanol, which tends to mix with water and dissolve water-soluble molecules such as cholophilus. It is therefore important to remove the cholophilus from the extract as it creates an undesirable bitter taste.
  • CO2 extraction. In this method, the compounds in the cannabis plant are separated using carbon dioxide. It is one of the more expensive methods, but it yields more extract and loses less of the beneficial substances. In addition, the method can be used to extract specific compounds by varying the indicators. It is also very cost-effective.
  • Extraction of butane or propane. In this case, butane or propane is used as the solvent. Due to the mild flammability of butane, this method requires special precautions. The complete removal of butane and propane from the resulting extract must also be ensured, as butane is highly toxic to humans. This method requires additional sampling for butane and propane residues.

CBG is cannabigerol, another of the more than 100 known cannabinoids. It is found in only small concentrations (<1%) in hemp fibres. It is the precursor of CBD and THC, so efforts to extract CBG from hemp are complex and costly.

In Vitro is the first group to clinically test the benefits of CBG on the skin. CBG was found to regulate more genes than CBD. CBG has also been found to have greater anti-inflammatory efficacy than CBD. CBG can help soothe inflammation, sunburn, acne, slow down ageing and protect, strengthen the skin's barrier against environmental aggressors, and reduce redness. If you have never used CBG products before, we suggest starting with the weakest 5% CBG oil. This will help you to find and control the right daily dose for your best well-being, and to make sure that the product is really right for you.

Once you are convinced of the suitability of the product and have found the best daily dose, you will be able to choose stronger CBG products.

We recommend that you consult your doctor about the use of CBG oil and follow his/her recommendations exactly.

Shake before use.

When using CBG oil for the first time, we suggest starting with the lowest possible dose, e.g. 5mg per day, and gradually increasing it as you feel better, even if you have used CBD oil before.

Factors such as age, metabolism, weight, potency and the type of CBG oil used can affect the result.

Both CBD and CBG are not addictive or psychoactive.

The main difference between CBG and CBD is that CBG can provide energy, relaxation and well-being, while CBD can help those who want to calm down, relieve stress, relax and unwind after a hard day, and sleep well.

Cannabis flower tea can be prepared in several different ways, but here is a simple recipe for making cannabis flower tea:

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of dried cannabis flowers (or more, depending on the desired strength)
  • 2 cups of water
  • honey (optional)

Cooking process:

  1. Bring the water to the boil.

  2. When the water starts to boil, mix it with the dried cannabis flowers and cook on a low heat for about 15-20 minutes to allow the cannabis to release into the water.

  3. Remove the pot from the heat and leave the tea to cool for about 5-10 minutes.

  4. If you like, you can add a little honey to increase the sweetness.

  5. Pour the tea into cups and enjoy!

You can also experiment with other ingredients to increase the flavour or the amount of beneficial substances. For example, you can add cinnamon sticks or a sprig of ginger. You can also use different varieties of cannabis to get different flavours and effects.

CBD oil can be beneficial and safe to use on your pets, but it is important to note a few things.

Firstly, it is recommended that you consult your vet before giving CBD oil to your pet. Your vet can help you determine the correct dosage and check that your pet is not allergic or intolerant to CBD or other ingredients.

Secondly, it is worth choosing a quality CBD oil that is intended for use in animals. CBD oils intended for humans may not be suitable for use in pets, as they may be too strong or not contain the various additional substances needed for the pets' well-being.

Thirdly, choose the right method based on your pet's needs.
